We believe the Borealis rubber straps are the best rubber straps available in market for diver watches taking into account the quality/price ratio and majority of our customers agree with that.
This rubber strap is the result of over a year of work developing a new vulcanized rubber formula that brings what a rubber strap should be about: durable, flexible, vintage looking and affordable.
The Borealis Rubber Strap 20mm Black has a size of 130/75 mm, a diameter of 20mm and is made of vulcanized rubber. Its composition does not contain any kind of silicone just rubber though it is flexible as a silicone rubber without attracting dust.
It is in our opinion the best vulcanized rubber strap in market for diver watches taking into account the quality/price ratio.

This is a lovely, very comfortable and well-made strap offered at a reasonable price. The service from Borealis was superb, with far quicker delivery to the UK than promised. The one and only negative (for me) is the strap's excessive length: it is too long for a 7 inch wrist. If Borealis offered a shorter version besides the standard one, this would be the perfect dive-watch strap for everyone.
The rubber is very thin at the connection to the watch and too wide to slide through the buckle. Also, there is minimum stretch so it can not be worn nice and tight, a requirement for swimming. Did not use long enough to know how it holds.
for those who don't know, vulcanized rubber straps are the best compared to simple rubber or silicone ones in terms of sturdiness and because they do not attract dust.
I had to wait a bit because the 20mm blue size was over but it was worth it.
the rubber of the strap is really of excellent quality, moreover, even if it is thick (like similar vintage straps) it is still comfortable on the wrist and the micro adjustment to wear on the diving suit is very useful.
at this price I think it has no competitor among vulcanized straps.
Ive got 2 of them. probably 7 yr old, compared to plastic or silicon straps, vulcanised rubber in these Isofrane style are super. Well done Borealis.
So comfortable, so luxurious. They fit like a glove. 10/10 worth the price.
