Introducing the Borealis Bull Shark, a dive watch born from the depths of imagination.

Inspired by the vintage reference 6538 from the 1950's no longer produced and part of history, the Borealis Bull Shark pays tribute to this classic style using 21st century technologies.

Sure to keep up with your active lifestyle, it has been thoroughly tested for water resistance up to 300m (1000 ft), a ceramic bezel that stays firmly in place even at great depths, and an easy-to-read dial. With its brushed and polished 316L stainless steel case and bracelet, it is sure to be both classic and trendy at all times.

A high double domed sapphire crystal brings to life its classical and timeless design.

With a total height of 12.60mm including its double domed sapphire crystal it is a durable and sturdy time piece capable of being your every day travel companion.

The dial, watch hands are made with thick Swiss Made RC Tritec BGW9 lume applied to it in order to guarantee a perfect illumination and easy readability in darkness.

The Borealis Bull Shark V2 collection is available with two distinct automatic movements: the Miyota 9039 for the no date versions and the Miyota 9015 for the date versions.

Another winner from Borealis

The Bull Shark White Dial with Snowflake hands is a fantastic watch. This is my 6th Borealis watch and it does not disappoint. The 38mm size is just about perfect for my just less than 7 inch wrist. I was concerned it might be too small as I have tried other 38mm divers and the watch dial was way to small. This is not the case for the Bull Shark as the watch dial is the perfect size along with a slim ceramic bezel. The finishing is very good along with fantastic lume which is typical from Borealis. The combination of quality and price are unbeatable.

Nice watch once it's on a strap

The watch is nice, for the next generation I would work on making the rehaut thinner and definitely make the bracelet links thinner, as it weighs more than the watch itself. Otherwise the dial, handset and bezel are all good.

The watch is beautifully designed and executed almost to perfection, by microbrand standards. It arrived with absolutely Z-E-R-O quality control issues: no alignment issues, not even a slight micro-scratch.

Excellent build quality and diversified, well defined finishing; attention to detail, movement adjustment (so I presume), tight bezel action, stable crown-stem and excellent tolerances for the price--including the end-links, which are completely snug between the lugs. And... Yea, the bezel aligns perfectly.

The mere specs don't tell the full story of this watch. You can grasp its quality and attention to detail, for example, by looking at the diversified finishing on the case-back--the polished relief mermaid is a wonderful addition--or at the fine faultless brushing on the lower side of the lugs. The brushing on the bracelet is on par with that on my Christopher Ward Trident Pro 600.

This watch is truly a tour de force by Borealis, and, in my humble opinion, a masterclass in microbrand watch production.

Points to improve:
-- Crown thread is a bit gritty (though not flawed).
-- The beautiful pattern on the dial could perhaps be a tad more apparent to the naked eye.
-- The design of the female end-links is not ideal for guys with smaller wrists, which is a shame, considering the 38mm diameter.
-- Crown could perhaps use a polished facet. As is, it looks too "toolish" and raw for such a refined case.
-- Clasp has no on-the-fly adjustment, and the safety latch is somewhat flimsy. It's a good and robust clasp, sure, but was widely used three years ago on 200$ AliExpress watches.
-- Case thickness isn't "12.60mm, including the crystal", as published, but rather 13.00mm.
-- Why not include a screwdriver in the package? One that optimally matches the bracelet's screws.
